FusionExcel is proud to sponsor 50 Quantum Pendants as prizes to the 61st National Schools Individual Chess Championships 2009, jointly organized by the Singapore Chess Federation and the Civil Service Club @ Tessensohn. The event was held at the Civil Service Club @ Tessensohn, Singapore from 16th to 18th March, 2009. A total of 1,275 students, from various National Schools in Singapore, took part in the championships, which were categorized into 10 age groups from Under 7 to Under 15 and Open category (Under 20).
FE was represented by Presidential Directors Fay Lim & Alex Long, Executive Director Jasen Khoo and Directors Yap Choow Tun, Mok Tze Meng and Kevin Lim. The FE representatives gave demonstrations to an excited audience of students of various age groups, teachers, chess coaches, parents and other family members and chess tournament officials at the event.
The President of the Singapore Chess Federation, Mr. Ignatius Leong presented a plaque to FE to commemorate FE’s sponsorship.
